SITAWOK is a prescription medicine used along with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. This medicine helps to increase the levels of insulin produced after a meal and decreases the amount of sugar made by the body. It is indicated in combination with insulin, alone or in combination with Metformin.

Sitawok is indicated as adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in type-2 diabetes patients. It is indicated in combination with insulin, alone or in combination with Metformin. Sitawok should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes.

Sitawok is contraindicated in patients with a history of a serious hypersensitivity reaction to sitagliptin, such as anaphylaxis or angioedema. There has been postmarketing reports of acute pancreatitis, including fatal and nonfatal hemorrhagic or necrotizing pancreatitis, in patients taking Sitawok. It is unknown whether patients with a history of pancreatitis are at increased risk of developing pancreatitis while taking Sitawok.

Sitawok oral film coated tablet is a prescription medication used to treat high blood sugar levels caused by type 2 diabetes. It can be used as dual oral therapy in combination with metformin when diet and exercise plus metformin alone do not provide adequate glycemic control. The recommended dose of sitagliptin is 100 mg once daily.
